About Garamond Type Specimen Book
The objective of this project is to do research on and create a saddle stiched book of a given typeface. The given typeface had to be incorporated into each page.
Problems
There has been a lot of experimental, break-the-grid approach to create a type specimen book for Garamond. The problem with that kind of approach is that the outcomes tend look very cluttered and agitated.
Approach
After doing some research on the history and the usage of Garamond, I decided to focus on the typeface's humanistic, natural, ancient and humble characteristics.
